Always creative and full of imagination, Star Frost started at a young age "making things". I began with ripping open hair scrunchies and sewing them into flashy dresses for my Barbie dolls. I took up crocheting at age 10 and out of boredom figured out how to make a shirt and skirt set for my baby doll. Fallen Star was originated in high school when I dreamed singing lead in a metal band. That's how it always looked... I would be in a band or design fashion. So Fallen Star became the name of my clothing designs. I have always been interested in clothing that was different. I was always playing dress up and just never grew out of it. Everyday should be dress up, a time to have fun and show some personality. I took dance lessons for 10 years and was always in love with our recital costumes and would wear them for play at home. Halloween was always a huge deal to me. Usually having at least 3 different costumes to change into. I find inspiration in dance, ballet, jazz, hip hop, exotic too. My influences are Betsey Johnson and Heatherette. Musical influences are Marilyn Manson, Type O Negative and 80's rock bands. Gotta love thsoe styles. My style, however funky as it may be one day, can change a lot from day to day. Everything was sweet n innocent with lace and pink bows to goth rocker with black pleather and fishnets. Who knows what's to come!
